| By Bill Roche. The social aspects of the weekend were great in spite of the rainy, cold weather. Cinco de Mayo was excellent. Saturday night's dinner was also great. Most of the entertainment was provided by empty stomach drinkers..."MARY".,,,, We went to the seafood place. The cold weather got everyone in bed early enough to function smoothly the next day. Racing? It sucked! All the cars survived in tact, although Dean's needed a couple things replaced after an encounter with the safer barrier in NASCAR 1 & 2. "During qualifying " Roger won! He really needed a win, it's been quite a while....After that it was Rader, Womer, Dean , Gary, Eugene, Grace Sr., Scaler, Russel Fredricks and Roche ..... Remmers parked his car on lap 12 "While running up front!". Stuck in the gravel outside the bowl. Lucky for the guys up front, that Dean was on vintage rains! Here are the RESULTS ! 1 72 Roger Siebenaler 19 30:15.368 1:33.911 16 61.335 - 2 36 Dale Rader 19 30:19.364 3.996 1:32.111 18 62.533 - 3 68 Ed Womer 19 30:19.825 4.457 1:31.555 17 62.913 - 4 06 Dean Curtis 19 30:36.509 21.141 1:34.474 4 60.969 - 5 76 Gary Kittell 19 30:41.397 26.029 1:34.655 15 60.853 - 6 18 Eugene Grimes 19 31:45.570 1:30.202 1:36.503 19 59.687 - 7 33 Dan Grace 18 30:20.856 1 Lap 1:37.739 14 58.932 - 8 19 Dave Scaler 18 30:29.914 9.058 1:37.853 13 58.864 - 9 23 Russell Fredericks 18 30:58.378 37.522 1:39.202 13 58.063 - 10 29 William Roche 18 31:04.044 43.188 1:39.116 18 58.114 - 11 38 Timothy Remmers 12 19:26.607 7 Laps 1:34.721 11 60.810 - |
